My Story
I qualified as a solicitor in 1977 having served my Articles (or Training Contract as it is now known) with T.J. James and Co., in Grays Inn, central London and in the centre of the London legal world, a short walk from the High Court in the Strand. I gained a good grounding in litigation work. On qualification I worked for six years for two specialist litigation practices in the City of London, Barlow Lyde and Gilbert and William Charles Crocker.
I moved to Norwich in 1983 and then to Cambridge in 1985 where I was offered a partnership. In 1989 I set up my own firm in Cambridge, Durston Tallamy which I sold in 2010.
My consultancy arrangement allows me to offer services at a very competitive rate. Please email or telephone me and I will provide either a fixed fee quotation or (if a litigation matter) an estimate of costs.
